“Mein Leben für das Kaiserreich,” meaning, “My Life for the Empire,” is a fiery orchestral piece commissioned by Tom Mesquite and beautifully mixed and mastered by Vincent dePaul.

Here’s a hard number from Mike Omni. If you plan on some bitter revenge or perhaps going out slow-motion in a hail of gunfire and tragedy, this track is most definitely for you.

A powerful new orchestral piece from Mike Omni.  Juggling it’s motifs between 3/4 and 4/4 the double basses and timpani boom with energy while the piano trickles notes down out of the higher regiment dexterously.  “Diloculo Salus,” is Latin for, “Dawn’s Salvation.”  Listen to this one LOUD.

I don’t do narcotics, but if I did, I’d imagine this is what it would be like.  The thick bass line commands the groove while the guitar chords reinforce it.  Shimmering dynamics accent the clarity of the composition.  Sit back, relax, and enjoy life to this.

Who would ever think a djembe and a piano would be so somber together?  The two play off each other until the orchestral hit locks the listener down.  The drum work is smooth and mellow to give the emotion a place to breathe.  Yet another beautifully crafted piece of piano work by Mike Omni.

Rich violins swells command the mood.  Piano chords add a tense but sweet gravity.  The drums pump hypnotically along.  All the listener can do is zone out and relax.

The title says it all.  A smooth Rhodes progression and an aggressively dirty slap bass take turns calming you down.  A gliding analog synth dances playfully between the two.  The drums are simple to keep the mood Bluesy, mellow, and relaxed.

This brutal cacophony of crunk has been recently declassified as a torture technique by the CIA known as “MPC boarding”.  The kicks are audio curb stomps.  The thick saw wave is the grim determination for the synthetic pizzicati to dance around in.  The choral voices are a haunting seance that warn us we’ve been submerged in this musical manifestation of hatred for too long.

Today’s track from Mike Omni feels like the title implies.  This Blues-esque guitar is reminiscent of a time when you had no adult worries and things were just all right.  Along with that happy carefree feeling, it carries a sense of loss for those easy times.
