Mike Omni – Rock, Paper, Trashbag Full of Glass

Mike Omni - Rock, Paper, Trashbag Full of Glass

Beautiful melodies get a dose of Red Bull in this uplifting song from Mike Omni.  Full bodied and virile, this is a track you can turn your life around to.

Make everyone in Ventrilo the same volume

We’ve all been there. The one asshole in Vent that blasts us with  machine-gun like volume.  His laughter blows your speakers and his plosives and sibilance are CIA-approved torture techniques.  Or the worst case scenario: The unstable audio connection that sends shock waves of static bursts that make you impulsively throw your headphones across the room.  He can’t control it because he’s a savage.  But that doesn’t mean you have to put up with it!  Follow these nine steps and everyone will be the same volume!

Mike Omni – Provocative Dreams

Mike Omni - Provocative Dreams

Mike Omni’s “Provocative Dreams” revolves in phases; from hopeful to yearning to triumphant and back again.  The Fender Rhodes MKII beds the whole track and teeters between beauty and cacophony.  The Ovation acoustic evokes a sense of loss and determination at the leading behest of a fat-bottomed Ocean one-piece bass.

Mike Omni – Caldera

Mike Omni - Caldera

Energy abounds in this hard rock composition from Mike Omni.  With a thick, abrasive bottom end and dueling guitars screaming on the top, this won’t just blow your mind, it’ll blow your soul.

Mike Omni – Slipping Away

Mike Omni - Slipping Away

A beautiful concert grand weaves melancholy within an eerie atmosphere in this piano solo from Mike Omni.  What starts with mourning crescendos into a powerful piece that sings of hope only to reiterate that the hard part is still ahead.

Mike Omni – The Sun Sets Again

Mike Omni - The Sun Sets Again

Crank up your bass to eleven and get ready as Mike dusts off his vocal cords (and vocoder) for this high-energy Drum & Bass banger.  With a bottom end fatter than Christopher Wallace, a head full of screaming saw synths and lyrics straight out of William Gibson’s Neuromancer, this one is sure to please the scary little caffeinated child in all of you.

Mike Omni – Dem Be Bahtee

Mike Omni - Dem Be Bahtee

Hard beats and a bass so thick it’s offensive.  The eerie patch from Blue carves a line through the choppy reggae organs in this new one from Mike Omni.

Mike Omni – The Days Get Darker

Mike Omni - The Days Get Darker

The stars of this Mike Omni piece are the dueling harmonies from his beautiful one-piece Ocean bass. While the two movements compete for your affection, the Les Paul Classic trickles notes onto you just like Jimmies on soft serve. The Fender Roads MKII, a Mike Omni favorite, breathes heavenly life under the composition.

Mike Omni – Stand Up to Fall Down

Mike Omni - Stand Up to Fall Down

Mike Omni busts out the NI Akoustic and proceeds to channel his past life as a Vienna pianist.  This shifting piano solo lingers between loss and hope.

Vincent dePaul – Civilian

Vincent dePaul - Civilian

The melancholy of Viktomajarmo’s composition drove my pessimistic vitriol outward.  As you can tell, I have little faith in my generation to do anything worthy of merit.
